Over 70% of planet Earth is covered by water, which means many of the wonders of our world, be it geological, man-made or part of the animal kingdom, are inaccessible to most. The PADI Open Water Diver certification is your globally recognised route into experiencing it all up close and personal.

At Hydra Diving we ensure every student comes away with a solid base of foundational knowledge and practical skills. The course will build your confidence by taking you step-by-step through the essentials required to be an entry level scuba diver, able to safely dive down to 18m / 60ft with a buddy.

You will be able to access the e-learning with any mobile device, tablet or laptop and complete the modules around your own day-to-day commitments.

Once you have mastered the various skills across your confined water sessions, you will move on and consolidate all of what you have learnt in open water.

This is a referral course. It is intended that you complete the confined water dives with us then complete your course at another centre or abroad.

Prerequisites: Able to swim and be medically fit for diving

Total time commitment: Up to 3 days (5 e-learning modules and 5 confined water skill sessions)

Minimum age: 10 years or older
