GroUT REPAIR
Over time the grout used to hold tiles in place becomes discoloured, loses its integrity, and can crack. This results in uneven levels of grout, loose tiles, and general unsightliness which is noticeable from the surface.
In order to remedy this we will carry out an underwater pool inspection, identifying areas that need to be cleaned and repaired. We will then either clean the surface layer or scrape out and replace grout as required.
As with our other services we are open to discussing your needs in terms of pool operation and may be able to offer a solution that does not impact on this.
Glass & Debris removal
Accidents happen and even with preparation and warning sometimes the rules aren’t followed. Glass, or other containers that shatter, can be a worry for every owner or pool operator, and when it breaks it’s almost impossible to see in some case.
Even with a pool vacuum and your best intentions, it’s likely fragments will be missed. This can lead to injury and a costly pool drain to ensure no pieces are left.
This course of action can lead to tile damage, due to the change in temperature, and it will impact the pools operation because draining, refilling, and reheating the pool is not a quick process.
Instead of taking your pool out of action you can hire us to clear any debris within a few hours. We will physically check and clear the pool floor on SCUBA, ensuring your pool is back in operation as soon as possible.
For these kinds of emergency cases we will work out of hours if required.
Tile replacement
Tile loss or discolouration is very noticeable and unsightly, especially from the surface. In some cases tile loss can leave the pool floor hazardous and likely to cause injury due to sharp edges.
Whether it’s a large area which requires some attention, or a small area around an entry/exit point; we have a solution. We will fully inspect the pool and tile match colours and patterns to ensure any areas that are dangerous and unsightly are removed and remedied.
Hiring us will mean there is no need to drain the pool to carry out repairs, because we work on SCUBA and use specialist materials that can be applied underwater.
We are also flexible with our working hours if required.
Bespoke solutions
We would like to encourage our customers to approach us for all manner of pool related tasks and issues that present themselves. We have experience fitting underwater pipes, cutting away matting and general cleaning under overhead structures that typical pool hoovers are unable to reach.
Above the surface we also offer pool cleaning services, such as surface scrubbing, jet washing, and scum line removal.
